I love what I do
I’m a 37 years old woman, currently living in Argentina. I’m a Multimedia Engineer profesional, and I’ve been working as a UX Designer/Specialist; for the last 12 years, working with progressively more defiant challenges and more diverse clients all over the continent.
Today I view my role as a designer, leader to be that of balancing opinionated guidance with diverse sets of empowerment and individual decision making. Working with me means working transparently, sharing in-progress work early and often, and framing problems as opportunities within a set of yet-to-be-understood contexts. I work to prioritize collaboration over individual work as I believe the absolute best way to do meaningful work is to do it with others.
My strengths are primarily in having and encouraging a growth mindset based on self-awareness, in creating a work-life balance where ideas can incubate and thrive, encouraging creative thinking, and acting authentically in everything I do. These strengths are both my own and what I work to incorporate into the teams I work alongside.
Previously I worked as UX Manager at PedidosYa, an Uruguay company that connects millions of people looking for food with thousands of fast delivery restaurants. Before Pedidos Ya I was a DesignOps and UX Design leader at Banco Galicia in Buenos Aires, where I helped to build a design team to create digital and financial solutions for the small companies in the country. Before that I worked at Almundo, where I worked as a product design of the cross products in the platform. Before Atlassian I spent nearly five years at Atento, helping design tools around communication, after sales services, and platform management for more than 1 million people.
My career has helped shape the way companies like PedidosYa, Revolt, Almundo and Galicia Bank think about collaboration, and design strategy.
Additionally, I’ve been teaching UX design in Coderhouse since 2017.
